From Djurgårdslinjen, you are able to charter multiple different trams of varying size, appearance, and age. Chose a stunning "Stockholm mustang" from the 1940's, or embark on a true nostalgia trip with a tram from the beginning of the 1900's. Add on  a trailer car for more room, and order catering for everyone on board! No matter the celebration, a trip with Djurgårdslinjen will give you the perfect touch for an unforgettable day!

If you are interested in booking a charter, please contact us at abonnemang@djurgardslinjen.se. We will get back to you with information about pricing, payment method, answers to all your questions, and other neccecary information. When all details are in place, you will receive a booking confirmation via email.  If we are unable to accommodate a charter on your desired date, we will be happy to discuss alternatives that work for both parties!

Charter for photography/filming

Charter the Djurgårdslinjen heritage trams for your photography or filming session, and add the perfect touch to your environmental portrayal! The trams and staff of Djurgårdslinjen can be found in various TV productions, such as SVT's "Fröken Frimans krig", as well as in photo sessions for Vogue Scandinavia and H&M among others.

Charter for businesses/associations

Celebrate your staff party in the best way possible and travel with Djurgårdslinjen's heritage trams to get to your destination! With our trams, you can travel from the City to event venues on Djurgården. Or why not hold the celebration on board the tram itself? The choice is yours!

Private charter

Charter your own heritage tram, invite friends and family, and enjoy the city's best views along Strandvägen, over the Djurgården bridge, and out to Djurgården island, all while travelling in full fashion! Does the whole family need to come along? Attach a trailer car or charter an additional tram altogether!

Catering

For private charters, we offer catering options in several forms.
Our motor car 335 and trailer car 521 are equipped with removable tables, allowing for catered charters with up to 40 seated passengers (16 in car 335 and 24 in car 521). Lighter catering can be arranged on all our trams.

Catering for private charters can be arranged directly through Djurgårdslinjen via our catering partners, but you are also welcome to bring your own pre-ordered food and drinks. Before your charter, we can provide storage for both chilled and frozen goods.

We are flexible and would be happy to discuss your requirements to find a solution that works well for you!

Pricing

The cost of a private charter with Djurgårdslinjen’s heritage trams varies depending on several factors. The price of each charter is calculated based on, among other things:

  • The date of the charter

  • The duration of the charter

  • The size of the party

  • The number of trams chartered

  • Any catering requirements

An exact price will be provided in your booking confirmation, which is sent to you by email once all details have been finalised.
